If you are a successful Sales Engineer within M&E building services, who is looking for to make a key move into a role where you could end up owning your own company then you cannot pass up on exploring this opportunity.

This is an immediate and unique chance to join an established company built over 20 years, who already have 5 key principle agency agreements - within 3 to 5 years you would be able buy substantial shares in the business, allowing you to substantially increase your earnings and have an invested interest in the company you work for.

As well as a generous salary and commission scheme, this opportunity also comes with a company car or allowance, 5 weeks holiday per year, established contacts/accounts to develop, supportive environment in a family run business.

The business currently has a very attractive order book, and large quotation book and established contacts within the sector.

Your responsibilities would include:-

Supplying quotations to existing clients including contractors, designers and builders Liaising with the 5 principle suppliers Handling new sales enquiries - the majority of leads will be supplied by the principles Generating new business opportunities Cultivating, growing existing and new relationships Promoting products supplied by the principles into the sector In return, you will be closely supported whilst you establish yourself in their business as well as being given advice on the products and commercial aspects of the business longer term.

 

You will need to have a solid track record or sales within the building / HVAC Heating sector, used to dealing with contractors, project managers, consultants and designers. The role will mostly revolve around London, Home Counties and East Anglia so experience in this region is preferable.

 

You will need to have experience of building business within the sector, as well as a technical biased background which will allow you do provide sound technical advice to your clients.

 

This would suit someone who may eventually like to work towards owning their own business without the risk of a new start up. You will be given some existing, established accounts to look after and grow as well as needing to explore and meet with new leads provided by your principal accounts. You will of course need to be experienced and motivated to source and build new business as well. It is expected that you would spend 3 days on the road and 2 days in the office based in Hertfordshire.

Full business and management support will be provided along with product training from the principles.
