A&H Underwriting Manager, London. Up to £65,000 plus excellent benefits and development

Role
To manage and oversee the direction, best practice and Profit and Loss of the A&H business.
Ensure clear Strategic Broker strategies and plans are in place and executed.
Produce exceptional business results through the monitoring and measurement of appropriate metrics, design and implementation of underwriting and product strategies.
Work with Head of Corporate A&H and Key Account Managers to ensure that the business is provided with the best product offering and customer proposition.
Identify future opportunities for business growth.
Contribute towards the performance management of all relevant underwriters.
Managing key relationships with Broker contacts and local offices.
Assist with day to day underwriting duties, renewals, mid-term adjustments and new business as required.

Knowledge & Experience
Comprehensive understanding and working knowledge within A&H, the insurance market and competitors.
Solid experience of dealing with brokers and clients.
Results driven with ability to make own decisions and work on own initiative.
A highly experienced professional who has a strong external reputation.
Experienced leader, able to train, mentor and develop others.
Ideally be ACII qualified.
