Key Account Manager, Home based covering England. Up to £50,000 plus car, excellent benefits and annual bonus.

Excellent opportunity to join a leading, well established insurance operation to play a key role in the development of profitable business through their broker relationships.
To apply you must have experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of developing growth from an existing client base as well as new business.

The role:
To deliver the agreed GWP targets across the product range, manage and develop existing and new intermediary relationships in order to maximise business opportunities.
Identify and target key sources across both existing and new Brokers for the area.
Initiate business plans for the area covering aspects of account performance e.g., business quality, renewal rate increases and retention, commission rates, loss ratios and service standards and to assist in the design and execution of MI reporting and analysis work.
Achieve new agency targets to contribute to the overall growth strategy.
Assist with reviewing underwriting cases as required within the company's focus and contribute to scheme presentations.
Build and maintain relationships at Director/Senior Management level.
Formulate and secure the introduction of joint business plans with Key Accounts.
Follow agreed guidelines across the product range to assist underwriters in ensuring required profitability margins are met.
Build internal relationships with underwriting staff to maintain support when developing new and existing business.

To apply you must have;
Experience in an external field sales role with excellent knowledge of the personal lines market.
Ability to foster good working relationships both internally and externally.
