This is a highly respected insurer within the market who are looking to continue developing their commercial offering. They are now looking for a talented and highly experienced trading underwriter to further enhance existing relationships and underwrite the more complex risks.

You'll undertake high quality technical and commercial underwriting in the rating and acceptance of insurance risks within agreed guidelines authority limits.
Quoting on New and existing Business, building relationships with prospect clients and brokers.
Performing a key role within the region, tasked with developing and maintaining broker relationships.
Attending regular broker review and relationship development meetings.
Playing your part in assisting with technical training and the production and distribution of statistical information and other research.
Working individually and collectively with other team members across Underwriting, Customer Service and Sales teams to provide technical support to add value across Commercial Lines.
Provide active support and guidance to the technical and commercial development of more junior underwriters.
Ensure the delivery of outstanding underwriting and customer service to Brokers in your Area.
Develop new business and maximising the value of current business on an ongoing basis.
Ensure compliance with the principles of Treating Customers Fairly and any other legal, regulatory, audit and risk management framework within your team by demonstrating knowledge of governance principles and company value.

My client is looking for individuals who have dealt with the more complex risks across Commercial Property and Liability Insurance.
Ideally you'll have also played a part in the ongoing development and support of others.
You'll be experienced in and be able to demonstrate the ability of developing and managing key broker relationships, including a track record of delivering profitable business growth.
