If you've been eyeing a Partner spot, this is an excellent green-field opportunity to work closely with senior Partners and build up the VAT practice across the northern region for a well established top tier firm. In return, you'll be positioning yourself in an optimum position for futher growth within the firm and will be the driver of all VAT activity.

About You:

• At minimum, you'll be an experienced Senior Manager or Director level candidate in either a VAT generalist or specialist capacity (not-for-profit experience is desirable)
• Strong commercial accumen
• Experience in growing a team or VAT function, including a record of winning business from both new and existing clients
• CTA qualified (or equivalent) is highly desirable

The role will include but not be limited to:

• Collaborating with regional and London based Partners to grow the practice's VAT function in the region
• Identifying, developing, and supporting new growth initiatives and marketing projects for the firm's commercial and not-for-profit clients
• Managing a diverse portfolio of clients across the region and providing advisory services on a range of VAT issues and requirements
• Participating and speaking in seminars
