We are working with a top 20 firm of chartered accountants who are looking for an Audit Senior to join their expanding team. This role will be based in their Guildford office.

The Guildford office is a 5-10 minute walk from Guildford train station and a 5 minute walk into the town centre.

About You:

• Professionally qualified in ACA or ACCA
• Either newly qualified or up to 2 years PQE
• Late stage studiers with a true understanding and experience of the audit cycle are also invited to apply
• Experience gained within a top 50 firm within an audit focused role
• Happy to work in a role with a split of 80% audit and 20% accounts
• Possibly looking to join a larger firm to develop your skills with larger clients and more complex work
• Car owner and open to travel (The majority of clients are in the London/South East area)
• Confidence to hit the ground running
• First class communication and presentation skills

About the role:

• Focus on audit for a client portfolio
• Responsible for planning some audits
• Work closely with clients from SME's to international businesses
• Supervise and manage juniors
• Prepare statutory accounts, liaising with other departments as necessary
• Recognise opportunities for cross selling
• Participation in promotional activities run by the firm.
