C. £30,000 + benefits
A Database & Server Administrator is required to manage the SQL server, Exchange server and SQL databases for this dynamic organisation in Chessington with solid SQL experience.
The Database & Server Administrator will oversee testing of new applications, maintain existing SQL server systems (and Exchange), provide IT support, introduce new developments, liaise with external software providers on development projects.
The Database & Server Administrator will have thorough understanding of SQL and SQL Server (2005/2008). Maintenance and performance tuning, script and scheduling experience, as well as solid Exchange and Exchange Server (2003) maintenance. Programming awareness of Visual Basic or .Net in order to fully understand the types of errors reported or tested are consistent with program rather than data errors, experience with Microsoft Server O/S, Active Directory, VoIP, and digital dashboard and SharePoint would be useful.
Microsoft accredited training preferred – MCSE preferred. MCP.

ISA – Internet Security Application.
Active Directory
Exchange Server – version 2003. Server management and maintenance.

Hardware Products:
Firewalls and security appliances
IBM Intel Server
CISCO – management and control of Routers, switches and hubs
Programming Language
A good understanding of Microsoft Visual Basic , T-sql
