Accounts Payable Assistant

Full Time Contract - 12 Months (flexible start / finish times)

Salary £27,000-28,000

A key client is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join them on a contract basis. Due to company growth, a more permanent opportunity could be available towards the end of the contract.

This individual will ideally not need to give more than 2 weeks' notice and be a capable, experienced accounts professional with excellent attention to detail. This is a professional office environment where good communication skills are paramount.

Job overview:

• Ensure purchase orders have been raised and duly authorised for each invoice
• Ensure invoices correctly authorised for payment
• Ensure all relevant documentation correctly completed and collated
• Post invoices onto Sage
• Prepare and post the bi-weekly purchase ledger run, ensuring correctly authorised
• All related filing
• Assist with non-purchase ledger payments processed on the electronic banking system
• Ad hoc finance related duties.
