We are working with a top 20 firm of chartered accountants who are looking for a Mixed Tax Senior to join their well established team in their Newbury, Berkshire office. Having added tax as a service line fairly recently, the demand has far exceeded their expectations and the need to expand the team is significant.

Your new firm

The Newbury office is of medium size and is a very dynamic, energetic and informal office. The staff all get on very well, complement each other's skills and have a real focus on building strong relationships with clients. The Newbury office is conveniently located just a 15 minute walk from Newbury train station and is just 30 minutes from the centre of Reading and Basingstoke. Parking can be arranged.

About You

You should be ATT qualified, (CTA studiers are welcome to apply), and recent experience gained within public practice is essential. You will have strong knowledge of both personal and corporate tax and be confident managing a mixed portfolio of clients. It may be that you're looking to join a larger firm to develop your skills with larger clients and more complex work but still maintain that local and personable feel. This is the firm for you.

Your new job

You will be managing a portfolio of clients, working with the managers to ensure all compliance and tax planning needs are met. There will be the opportunity to develop your advisory skills if that's of interest and study support will be provided if needed. Most importantly, you will be the first point of call for client queries and hold some responsibility for meeting new clients and getting involved with low-level business development.
