This is a hybrid role, working from home and our Bordon office 

Job Summary:  
You will play a key role working independently on specific tasks, as well as working closely with the Finance & Scottish Development Manager, collaborating with the wider PCA team to help them understand and utilise data, as we develop and grow our initiatives, projects and activities. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised, IT literate individual with a finance background, excellent numeracy, data and communication skills to support our team. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:  
Finance Administration 
You will support the finance administration of the charity, using Xero accounting software to record and reconcile income and expenditure transactions in a consistent and meaningful manner. This will include: 

• Reviewing and processing income from multiple fundraising sources 
• Efficient processing and banking of cheques 
• Creating Sales Invoices 
• Preparing and reconciling Gift Aid Claims to HMRC 
• Purchase Order Processing
• Bank and petty cash reconciliations 
• Updating and maintaining Fixed Asset and Equipment Registers 
• Supporting the monitoring of compliance to financial controls and policies  
• Supporting annual audit, preparation of management accounts and reports for budget holders.

Data Administration 

• Collating & preparing data from multiple sources, in particular various fundraising platforms 
• Uploading and maintaining data on Salesforce, using data import tool & manual input 
• Monitoring and maintaining successful data integration from various sources 
• Proactively monitoring and observing trends for campaigns and activities.
• Supporting projects including requests from the wider PCA team for data insights.
